Custom Steel Mailbox Posts
Custom steel mailbox posts, extended-reach and specialty mounts, and mailbox structures designed to match the architecture around them. Built in our Duvall shop.
01 — Who it's for
Who it's for
A mailbox post is small, but it sits right at the curb in front of the house. We design posts and structures in steel to match the architecture they’re in front of.
We build for homeowners, HOAs, developers and builders across the Greater Seattle area, from one post to a matching set for a whole street.
Typical applications
- A single mailbox post that matches the house
- Extended-reach mounts for curbside access
- Mailbox structures for a new development or HOA
- Replacement posts that match an existing street
- Builder packages across a set of homes

03 — Process
How a project works
A typical project, from the first conversation to finished steel.
Step 1: Requirements
We start with what the piece is for, where it goes and what it has to fit or hold. Send drawings, photos, measurements or a rough sketch.
Step 2: Design (CAD)
We model it in CAD and work out how each part will be cut, formed and welded, so the design is practical to build and built to last.
Step 3: Fabrication
Parts are laser and plasma cut, formed on the press brake, then welded and assembled in our Duvall shop.
Step 4: Finishing & handoff
Powder-coated finishes are available. Pickup is in Duvall, and delivery may be available depending on size and location. Installation is usually handled by your contractor; we work out the mounting so they have what they need.

05 — Questions
Common questions
How is a custom mailbox post priced?
Price depends on the design, the type of mount, the quantity and the finish. Send a photo of the house or a post you like and we'll come back with questions and a quote.
Do you install mailbox posts?
No. Installation is arranged by you or your contractor. We work out the mounting (base plate or in-ground) with you so your installer has what they need.
Can you match the posts already on our street?
Often, yes. Send photos and measurements of an existing post and we'll design to match.
Can you build posts for a whole development?
Yes. Tell us how many you need and the look you're after, and we'll quote the set.
How long does it take?
It depends on the design, the quantity and what's already in the shop. We'll talk through timing when we quote the project, before any work starts.
